Funded by the National Academies Keck Futures Initiative, Beyond the Academy is a multi-university network dedicated to removing barriers faced by researchers doing interdisciplinary work that addresses complex, real-world issues. Through a series of workshops, project collaborators focus on creative solutions to overcoming challenges associated with three themes: measuring research impact, fostering engagement, and supporting students.
