Welcome! I am an Associate Professor at the University of Minnesota’s Humphrey School of Public Affairs where I co-direct the Center for Science, Technology, and Environmental Policy. 

My research is interdisciplinary, with a focus on scholarship that addresses current challenges in environmental policy. Priority is given to research conducted in partnership with state and federal agencies, environmental and community-based organizations, and other stakeholders seeking solutions to complex environmental management and policy challenges.

I advise students in the MS in Science, Technology, and Environmental Policy Program and PhD students in Public Affairs.
