Nfamara K Dampha, a native of The Gambia, is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Natural Resources, Science, and Management specifically in  Economics, Policy, Management, and Society, and track. Nfamara’s research interests centered on climate change adaptation, environmental and natural resources policy, and economics, ecosystem service valuation, international development practice as well as disaster risk reduction in developing countries. His 2018 summer research project, funded by the Create Initiative, focuses on a literature review on the state of water quality (both physicochemical and microbiological conditions) as it relates to aquaculture production in Lake Volta and the Lower Volta River regions of Ghana. Nfamara has also designed a Contingent Valuation Survey on coastal Ecosystem Service Improvement, to be implemented in The Gambia being mid-August to mid-September, 2018.
