Annamarie Rutledge is a born and raised Minnesotan who graduated from the University of Minnesota in 2017 with a B.S. in Journalism and Ecology, Evolution, and Behavior and minors in Management and Marine Biology. Annamarie will begin working in the Keeler Lab in Fall 2018 as she begins her M.S. in Science, Technology, and Environmental Policy in the Humphrey School of Public Affairs. Over the past year, Annamarie worked in urban partnership communications for Smith Partners PLLP, political tracking for Save the Boundary Waters, and took some time to experience Ireland, Australia, and New Zealand. Energized by her passion for conservation, Annamarie finds herself at the intersection of multiple disciplines and is excited to support Sea Grant in investigating community resilience to climate change in the Lake Superior Basin.
